Polytecs world-class production facilities and a dedication to providing quality and value have made them the first choice in doors and panels for DIY Kitchen Company.
Polytec is the largest supplier of custom made cabinet doors in Australia. Their products are made with a technologically advanced, computer integrated manufacturing system. It's your guarantee of purchasing the best decorative surface product in today’s market place.

Thermolaminated vinyl doors and panels are made from profiled 18mm moisture resistant MDF, formed on the face and edges with a tough, durable, decorative surface. The result is a stylish fully-profiled door with an excellent resistance to impact. The smooth moulded edges on each thermolaminated vinyl door reduce the danger of the usual knocks and bumps of a busy household. Your new kitchen will remain a showpiece for years to come.

Melamine doors and panels are made from 16mm moisture resistant MDF, in a range of surface finish options; they are available in both rolled and square edged profiles. Melamine doors and panels are designed to complement Polytec's Thermolaminated doors and panels.
Available edging options now include a full range of 1mm edge tapes giving your doors a sleek and almost seamless finish. The durability of our 1mm edge tape ensures that your doors will endure the daily activities of a busy kitchen without compromising on style.

Polytec laminate is a technically advanced high pressure postforming laminate designed for high wear applications such as kitchen benchtops, decorative furniture and shopfitting. Polytec select designer printed papers and have these treated with phenolic and melamine resins, then pressed at extremely high pressure and temperature into solid thin sheets of phenolic plastic.

Care
To maintain the sparkle of your new kitchen’s diamond polish, there are some simple steps to follow, most of which are common sense things you are already doing:
- Wipe your benchtops regularly with a damp cloth or sponge using warm water and mild detergent
- Throw away your scourers, steel wool, sandpaper or any other abrasive cleaning product because those days are over when you have NaturaStone
- Deal with food spills as they happen because this protects your benchtop from acids and stains
- Use a nice heat pad or trivet if you want to stand hot pots and bowls on your benchtop for long durations – NaturaStone can handle extreme heat in short bursts but on-going thermal shock can cause damage
- Keep chemicals, acids, solvents and other substances in the garage or laundry and away from your kitchen benchtops as they can be harmful to humans and to NaturaStone
- And keep an eye on your electric kettle to make sure it does not regularly overflow or stand in puddles of water because that is a risk to humans as well as NaturaStone
As you can see, some simple commonsense will breathe extra life into your kitchen’s “wow” factor!
